Scene Study Class for Adults
The Marion Art Center is pleased to announce a new scene study and acting class for adults. If you have ever wondered what it takes to stand up on the stage—or if you are coming back to acting after some other roads traveled—then this is the class for you! Dive into acting in this exploratory class in a supportive environment with experienced instructors to guide you along the way.
In this 6-week class you will dissect classic texts or scenes from modern plays, dust off your funny bone with theater games, and explore the fundamentals of acting. Practice reading texts, character analysis, voice work and beyond.
Whether you want to prepare for an upcoming audition at the MAC or elsewhere—or do something new you've never tried before—all are welcome to this space where your creativity can flourish.
