Chalk It Up Arts Festival makes colorful return May 18

MIDDLEBORO — The Heart in Art presents the Chalk It Up Arts Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 18 at Middleboro Town Hall.
Squares of sidewalk will be available for participants to draw on any way they choose.
Size options are $5 for 8.5 by 9 feet or $10 for 18 by 8.5 feet. Judges will award cash prizes to the top works.
An adapted version of the event will take place inside in the Ballroom at Town Hall if it rains.
Proceeds from the event will support The Heart in Art, a Middleboro-based non-profit dedicated to equity of access to the arts, offering programming in a range of activities, including yoga, visual arts and music.
