Hat’s the spirit for YMCA fundraiser

The Gleason Family YMCA will host a “Sip and Support” to fundraise for the organization's Annual Campaign.

The campaign provides financial aid to those who cannot afford the organization's services, including for summer camp, child care and other programs.

This event is only for those 21 years or older. It will take place at Stone Path Malt Taproom, located at 11 Kendrick Road, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8.

Attendees can enjoy craft beer and wine, food from Minkle Brothers Catering, live entertainment, cornhole as well as a raffle and silent auction.

The theme for this year’s event is “Crazy Hat” The organization encourages all attendees to show up in their craziest, most creative hats and embrace the theme.

Crazy hats are not required, but attendees who dress to impress will be entered for a chance to win a door prize.
