Library board member sought

MIDDLEBORO — The Trustees of the Middleboro Public Library District are seeking applicants for a vacated seat on the Library’s Board. 

The board member will assist with policy development, financial management, local partnerships, and advocacy efforts. 

The board will be recommending candidates to the Select Board to serve either until June 30, 2025 (a 1-year term with the possibility to be reappointed) or June 30, 2027 (a 3-year term with the possibility to be reappointed).

Board members must be Middleboro residents who are able to meet on the second Monday of each month from 6 p.m. to about 8 p.m., participate on assigned committees and review materials before each meeting 

Applications will be accepted until Friday, June 7.
