Joyce (Targett) Durnin,84, of Falmouth formerly of Middleboro passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Daughter of the late Alice and Thomas Targett.

Joyce was a friend, Mom, Nana, and Gee-Gee. Her love in life was family and true friends. She is an example of a good heart, caring, honesty, integrity, wisdom, feisty, fun sense of humor and moving forward in life with her eyes wide open. Joyce has battled a long time with the cruel disease of Alzheimer’s. We feel so fortunate that Joyce is now in forever peace.

She was the beloved wife of the late Bill Durnin. She was the devoted mother of Dawn Copeland and husband her Bill, Falmouth, MA, Scott Olson and his wife Joanne, Charlotte, NC Donna D’Amato and her husband Ricky, Spencer, MA, Steve Durnin and his wife Betsy, Daytona Beach, FL, Howard Durnin and his wife Debbie, Sutton, MA, Cyndy Groccia and her husband Michael, Hudson, NH, and Marc Durnin Wheat Ridge , CO. Adored grandmother of Cailey Copeland, Molly (Copeland) Sifflard, Keith Copeland and Lucy Olson. Great grandmother of Levi Copeland, Ryder Copeland, Sadie Sifflard and Will Sifflard

At this time, we are celebrating that Joyce, and the love of her life Bill Durnin are reunited and dancing to their favorite song “Could I Have This Dance For The Rest Of My Life.” With all our love, you will never be forgotten!

A Committal Service will be held at the MA National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne on Tuesday, May 21 at 12:45PM. All are welcome.
