MIDDLEBORO — Students at the Mary K. Goode Elementary School prepared for Valentine’s Day by making posters for first responders.

“Each year, the second grade classes at MKG learn about first responders in the community,” said second grade teacher Leslie Sorrento. “Each class then makes a poster with valentines for one of the groups.”

“This year, School Resource Officer Steve Valerio was able to receive the two posters for the Middleborough Police,” Sorrento added. “Other posters were delivered by teachers to Middleborough Fire, Coastal Ambulance, and Massachusetts State Police.”
