Paddle your canoe and have fun too.

The 2024 canoe race will start at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 27 at Old Bridge Street in Lakeville. The race ends at Oliver Mill Park in Middleboro at about 12:30 p.m.

Free Central Cafe pizza and water will be available to all finishers. The top three paddlers in each category will receive a trophy. 

Each participant must wear a safety flotation device. No more than two people are allowed in each canoe and an extra paddle is required. 

Pre-registration is $10 per person. Paddlers can sign up at the Masi Field House, 26 Jackson St., Middleboro. 

Day of race registration is available from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on race day at Old Bridge Street, also for $10 per person. 

At the conclusion of the race, at 12:30 p.m., the annual duck race will take place at Oliver Mill Park.

Each duck is numbered. Tickets are $5 per duck. The top finisher will receive $100. Second and third places will receive $75 and $50 respectively.
