David W. Ewan, 69
WAREHAM - David W. Ewan, 69, of Wareham, passed away on October 25, 2026, at Tufts Medical Center, Boston. He was the husband of the late Paula L. (LeFavor) Ewan and the son of the late William and Nancy (Wilbur) Ewan.
He was born in Wareham and lived there his whole life. He graduated from Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School.
Mr. Ewan worked his way up to Service Manager at Butler Automatic in Middleboro where he was employed for 50 years. He also worked as a custodian at Wareham Middle School where he made lots of connections and friendships. In his free time, he dedicated himself to being a youth basketball and baseball coach for the Wareham community for many years.
He enjoyed fixing and repairing things whenever he was called upon to do so for his love of simply helping others. Whether it was offering his time, sharing his skills, or simply being there for someone in need, he never hesitated to help. His family will always remember him as one of the most unselfish people they have ever known, a man who found fulfillment not in what he could receive, but in what he could do for others.
He was a loving husband, a LOVING father, and the greatest "Papa" to his grandchildren. His family was the center of his world, and he dedicated his life to loving, supporting, and caring for them. His greatest pride and joy came from the people he loved most, and his family will forever cherish the countless memories, unconditional love, and precious moments they shared with him. His love will remain a part of them always, carried in their hearts for generations to come.
