LAKEVILLE — On Friday, Dec. 22, water pipes in the attic burst at a LeBaron apartment building in Lakeville where people older than 55 live, according to a Facebook post from the Lakeville Fire Department.

While working in the attic of the building to respond to the leak, a firefighter fell and became injured, the post continued. The firefighter was driven to a hospital by an ambulance and has since been released, the post said.

Two residents of the apartment building were provided with temporary housing to live in while workers work to repair the leak, the post added.
