MIDDLEBORO — The Friends of Middleboro Cemeteries will be participating in the Wreaths Across America program for 2024.

Wreaths Across America’s mission is “Remember the fallen. Honor those who serve. Teach the next generation the value of freedom.” Friends of Middleboro Cemeteries seek to honor that mission and America's veterans by participating in this national wreath-laying ceremony in December.

Anyone who wants to help honor veterans and support the organization may purchase a wreath from Wreaths Across America.

For every wreath purchased, The Friends of Middleboro Cemeteries receives $5, which is put toward the preservation of the town’s historic cemeteries. Wreaths will be placed on the graves of veterans in Central Cemetery. 

While specific placement requests can’t be made, wreaths can be purchased in honor of a specific veteran.
