To the Editor:
The Swifts Beach Improvemmt Association would like to shout a huge THANK YOU to Tom Pilleri for his annual volunteer service for the Swifts Beach Labor Day races that are held at the Joseph Conway playground. Tom has been coordinating this fun family tradition event for over 45 years. He has decided it was time to step back and have the younger generation step up.
A second shout out to Joe Frassica who has been assisting Tom for over 25 years and will also be stepping back. They will be missed, but we know they will be on the retirement sidelines cheering everyone on next year.
